| Well..... It's not been a good day, to say the least. It started off bad... I had to work. hehe. But anyways, problem at hand. I was going home for lunch to visit with mom and dad, and I got rear-ended by a Chevy Silverado. He must have been driving at like 50-55mph, judging from the skid marks on the highway (they were 40ft long). His impact threw my car about another 35-40ft ahead. I was waiting on a car to make a left turn ahead of me, and just as I was beginning to let my foot off the brake, I heard the squeeling tires of the truck and about a second later.... yep. No more Honda. :-( Which brings me to fun point numero dos. He was driving a company truck, for personal uses. The speedometer didn't work, which he told the Police. He was "keeping up with traffic," which was about 50mph.... another fact he told the Police. Speed limit on this road is 45mph. The icing on the cake? Oy vey, it gets better. He said that he wasn't paying attention, which he, once again, stated to the Police. What a yutz! God, I'd love to be a fly on the wall at his job tomorrow morning when he tells them... "I wrecked the truck. It's got $3,000 damage. And oh yeah, I totalled a car too. It was $24,000." And, of course, I've got pictures!! Here they are... http://img390.imageshack.us/my.php?image=1001084wq6.jpghttp://img183.imageshack.us/my.php?image=1001085ko8.jpghttp://img183.imageshack.us/my.php?image=1001088ww6.jpghttp://img183.imageshack.us/my.php?image=1001091kz2.jpghttp://img390.imageshack.us/my.php?image=1001092br9.jpgYeah.... So, I no longer have a car.... thanks to some shmuck who can't drive. I get to go and find a lawyer, get the Police report and go by the insurance company tomorrow...... all while signing the lease on my new apartment in Charlotte!!! Hugs to all | |

| Gosh.... it seems so long since I've really updated this thing and everything like that. A lot has happened in the past year. Sheesh, I don't even know if I have enough time to go through it all. And, actually, I don't..... lol. Being at work, I don't get much online time, but I will continue to update this evening when I return home. see ya then. | |

| At one time, I felt like I should care what others thought of me. That my reputation was something that I strive to keep for the best. I've realized that you have to compromise who you are to get anywhere in the world. I always thought that you could do anything you wanted to do and you'd still be who you were the day before.
Over the past few weeks, I've finally had a few dates. (thank god..) But also, I've come to get pretty close to a few of my friends. Now, I still love them all to death. But, I guess somewhere deep inside it still hurts when they do things, sort of unknowingly. I know that neither one of them really knew how much I really liked them. I had sort of started talking with them both last night here at Caribou... but, my constant lesbian companions had to leave, right then, and thus...... While I was gone, of course, the two of them started talking and knowing most gay boys, are probably dating by now, but, yeah... who knows?
I'm moving out of my house. The roommates told me that they're leaving on New Year's Eve.... which I know has already past. I'm living there alone right now, as I wait for the house to hopefully sell. On the bright side to that note, my parents are building a new house, and I got hired to be the decorator. (lil happy dance)
My car is still a POS. I'm waiting on the insurance payoff check to come in so I can get me a new one. I've been looking at the 2004 BMW 323iC Convertible. It's only $37,500.. not too bad, I don't think.
I think that I'm going to give up on dating for a while. Everytime I seem to find someone I like, or someone who's looking for the same things that I am.... they either already are dating someone, talking to someone, or just flat out tell me that I do not interest them. It really hurts me and I just feel so left out in the cold every night. I go home to my house and it's empty, no noises, no furniture, just me, my laptop and a kitchen table. It's not what I wanted and less than I deserve.
I know that much. I just can't seem to find anyone worth 44 cents anymore in this god-forsaken city. I thought, that maybe, out of 3.5 million citizens, there'd be someone good, special, and meant for me. I guess I'm going to have to branch out and leave this place to find anyone.
It's going to be hard to leave everyone, but I think that once I get back on my feet from the house and my other debts, that I'm just going to leave this place like a bat outta hell.
It's not worth my sanity, stress level, or anything else for that matter to have to deal with all this rejection that I'm feeling from this city.
I love my friends here to death, they're a god-send. I honestly think they're the only reason I'm still here. Gosh, I know if they charged psychologist rates.... jess would be broke!! lol
But, who knows, only time will tell...... - Mood:discontent
- Music:enya - only time

| gosh...
i really honestly don't know where to start on here, so much in my life has changed since i last wrote in here. i guess i'll just pick up where my life left off on june 1st.
all through june, i worked at uncc doing freshman and transfer orientation things all over campus.. it was very grueling, working almost 8 hours a day 5 days a week. i member mentioning getting a call back from the new walmart supercenter back home, for a job interview... well, i got the job and it's a very cool thing, i get to select my own hours, more or less, and i can work as much or as little as i'd like to. which i find quite lovely. i started working there on the 24th, and i finally ended my career with winn dixie on july 5th. which, btw, was my BFF, Jason's, 21st birthday!!!
july was all store setup stuff at walmart, working 8-5 mon-friday, which was quite a change for me, the second shift lifetime whore.... the store finally opened on the 16th and we've been going strong ever since. not really much of anything else happened in july, except for the announcement of my parent's re-marriage, and the selection of me being the wedding planner (oh lord!)
august went by too quickly, doing mailings and all for the school, getting ready for classes to start, along with auditions and placement testings for the year. school started smoothly and the next day, my parents were remarried, on their 30th wedding anniversary, even though they've been divorced since i was 7. well, while i was getting ready for the ceremony, a construction walking board that my contractor so kindly left in my garage, decided to fall on my passenger door, and left about 200 scratches down the panel, and he won't pay to have it fixed. oh bother, the insurance covered it, and i did actually get a decent rental for 2 days, woo hoo, go dodge neon.
the first 2 days of september was jordans going away party, she's spending the next 5 months in israel as an international jewish student. she says that she really likes it there. i'm also really glad that i went to that party, bc i was able to be there for phillip, as he and quinn were going through really bad break up. since then he and i have been getting closer and closer, and i can honestly say that he's probably one of, if not the, closest friend i have now.
i've decided to take some time away from school.. too much drama and it was making me a bitchy ass queen. i never got any sleep and my work availiblity was suffering badly. so, i think that i'm just going to take a year or so, and just veg out away from school. i personally think that's for the best. when i decide to go back, i think that i may go to the art institute here in charlotte and get my degree in either fashion design or interior decorating.... two overly gay fields, yes, i know.... but alas, i feel that's my calling.
things are going along with the roommates... conditions could be better, but hopefully with time, those will get better also.
but i think this is enough for now, i'll stop typing, but i may have another post later about some other things going on, never know with me, but just keep an eye peeled for it.
love you all..(the 3 that may actually read this, lol)

| well, i started my new job at UNCC today..... 2.30-5pm in the ID office doing SOAR ID cards for the incoming transfers/freshmen... but first, I had to work 10-2 in china grove at freakin winndickme. so, after changing in the car, and having 30 mins to get to UNCC, I just barely made it, but it was all worth it... I made it there, and have possibly made a few new friends :)
after i got home, i took myself a nice 13 hour nap :)

| Well!
today was totally uneventful-- christin and i went to big k to get our blinds for the house, but they nearly had none of our sizes, so i was like, oh well, let's go to super k later. then we had lunch with her mom and brother! and we got our kitchen table on layway now at superwalmart... heck yeah
i got my desk down here finally... i don't have to lay on the floor anymore :)
got a call back from the NEW super walmart..... hope this goes well--- i get to start my uncc soar job tomorrow.. wish me luck!

| Today in the spanish class that I teach, we did spanish foods and a movie.. i couldn't find the movie that I wanted to use, so i was like grrrrr at blockbuster!! I decided on "Los Tres Caballeros"... That went over well, and the food was awesome!
After that, I went out to Caribou to see some of my friends and all that kind of thing... it was nice, warm, and a lot of people were there that I haven't seen in a long time
and me and lori still haven't done lunch :-(

| Gosh!
I had an absolutly horrible day at work, but that's all right! It was just one of those evenings that no matter how hard you try, you can never get anything to go right for you. It was kind of the icing on the proverbial cake.
My day started out with a visit from Lori, a friend who was going to move into my new house with me, and then as I was walking her out to her car, I locked my keys in the house!!! How dumb, huh? :) Then finally I got my keys back after having Lori drive me to O'Charley's to get Christin's keys and then me driving them back in my car...... I was on my way to the bank and got rear-ended AGAIN.... (this makes 3 times in less than a year!) luckily this time it was only a few scratches, so I didn't worry about it.. Just still a bit tense.
The highlight of my day was dinner with Karen at Sonic back in the Grove... That's one place I definitely can't get enough of.... especially with all my peeps!
Well, guys, it's bed time- night night

| yeah, and hey everyone!
Jenn and Stormy took me out last night to GSO to this club called Skybar... Jenn had requested a visit from the Divine Miss M. So, as the good friend that I am, willingly invited Mycah along. We all had the time of our lives. But of course, it was hot and all that fun stuff.. Almost got a few phone numbers, and of course, I did get a few grab asses from the hottt GSO bois!
Gonna write more later... check back soon!
